HealthQuest of Union County
Raises over $17,000

On May 21st, HealthQuest Board of Directors, employees and volunteers showed their support of HealthQuest, and our community, through an eco-friendly fundraiser.
Forty-three volunteers turned out to support "Clean-up for HealthQuest" and spent their morning picking up trash from roadsides all over Union County in an effort to raise money for HealthQuest.
Through donations and pledges, some based on the total pounds picked up, HealthQuest raised over $17,000 to support their program and assist area residents with their prescription drugs. Almost 3 tons (5,993 lbs to be exact) of trash was taken to the landfill or recycled.
This has been an excellent fundraising effort and we look forward to doing it again next year. We would like to thank all of our volunteers that day for their time and dedication to supporting two great causes.
"I really need HealthQuest. There's no other way. I can't find a job (with his disability) and definitely no one will insure me. It really helps."

"Before HealthQuest, I could give prescriptions but that didn't help at all because they couldn't afford to fill them."
