About HealthQuest
Our History
HealthQuest was organized in 1999 through a collaborative effort of Carolinas Medical Center-Union, several local Pharmacists and community leaders to address the serious need for a free Pharmacy in Union County. The number of residents who could not afford their medications for chronic health conditions resulting in unnecessary Emergency Room visits and hospitalization each year was astonishing.
